  • Born in 1974 Amman, Jordan.
  • Lives between London and Amman.
  • Majored in Fine Arts in Amman.
  • Started in Al Shark Al Awsat newspaper as a journalist.
  • Worked in Jordanian AL-Dustour newspaper.
  • A cartoonist and a founder of the Jordanian Cartoonist Association.
  • Won the Arab journalism award for the cartoon category in 2008 and 2017.
  • Won the Mahmud Kahil prize in 2015.
  • Won the Editorial cartoon prize in 2016 for Mahmud Kahil Awards for Arab comic Artists and Illustrators.
  • A jury member of the Cartoon Award of the Dubai Press Club in 2010.
  • He works as a cartoonist for Asharq al-Awsat and publishes his drawings there in four languages.
  • He is the editor of the Arab-News daily newspaper in English; He also worked regularly with the Journal of the Political Majala for 11 years, until it stopped paper publication.

  • PhD in modern philosophy with a research on Kant and on the qualification of philosophy in the field of philosophy of art and aesthetics in 2000.
  • Tunisian researcher specializing in philosophy.
  • Professor of Art philosophy and aesthetics in  University of Tunis El Manar, 1998-2019.
  •  An activist in the field of freedom and civil society.
  • Had media experience in Audio-written journalism.

  • Sudanese Artist, Cartoonist, and a revolutionary figure in the digital/electronic sphere.
  • Born in 1980, Bucharest, Romania.
  • Lives and works between Doha, Qatar and Copenhagen, Denmark.
  • Received a B.A, in Interior Design Engineering at Ajman University of Science and Technology in United Arab Emirates.
  • Al Jazeera Network Training Center Diploma, Graphic and Branding in 2005.
  • Graphic designer and multimedia specialist.
  • worked as head of installations and design for public art in Qatar Museums Authority.
  • Founder of Doha Fashion Days.
  • Co-founder of the Khartoum Contemporary Art Centre.
  • 2016 OAK human rights fellow.
  • The ICORN/PEN Artist in residence for the city of Copenhagen and a Guarantee of the open Society foundation in 2018/2019.

  • Professor of Political Science at the University of Benghazi, Libya.
  • Head of Political Science department at the University of Benghazi between 2012-2017.
  • worked as manager of foreign affairs at the Libyan Red Crescent.
  • Head of the Advisory Board of Libya Institute for Advanced Studies-LIAS.

Youssef Abdelke:

  • Born in 1951 in AL-Qamechli, Syria.
  • Studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus, Syria and graduated in 1976.
  • Between 1980-2006 he was living in exile in Paris, France.
  • lives and works in Damascus, Syria.
  • He received his diploma in 1986 in Etching from Ḗcole Nationale Superieure     des Beaux-arts, Paris, France.
  • PhD in Fine Art from the Université Paris VIII, France. 1989.
  • works in carving, pencil drawing, painting, and book illustrations.
  • Group of his work is acquired by Arab and European museums.
  • Held many solo exhibitions in Tunisia, Bahrain, Amman, Cairo, Beirut, Berlin, Sharjah, Paris, Hamburg and lately in institute du monde Arabe in Paris. As well as his participation in many group events and exhibitions in Damascus, Berlin, Paris, London, Taiwan, Alexandria and recently he contributed in Institute du monde Arabe in Paris with some of his works.
