Michael Gaebel studied Middle Eastern Studies, German Linguistics and Literature at the Free University of Berlin, and graduated with a thesis on contemporary Middle Eastern political philosophy. In 1995, he published on Mohammed Abed al-Jabri contributions to the political discussions of the 1980’s and 1990’s.
He is currently working at the European University Association, Brussels, where he is in charge for policy development and international cooperation
